About

Tender writers, business copywriters and editors

We are writers and editors that specialise in proposal writing, business communications and copywriting. Our strengths are in government tender writing for leading companies in construction, property, transport and engineering. Our approach to writing is more than just spelling and grammar – we work closely with your team to develop compelling communications that connect with your audience.

Writing simply is difficult, but it’s also true that writing is really re-writing. Like any other profession, it’s constant practice that enables us to communicate complex ideas with a clarity of precision.

We can plan, write and edit your:

  • Bids, tenders and proposals, e.g. returnable schedules, management plans and executive summaries
  • Marketing and communications, e.g. award submissions, articles, brochures, reports and newsletters
  • Technical documents, e.g. business plans, procedures, specifications and method statements
  • Career resources, e.g. CVs, resumes, bios, profiles, cover letters and selection criteria.

Led by Oliver Hogue – experienced writer and editor

Oliver is a creative and versatile tender writer, business writer and copy editor. His writing experience includes magazine features, tender documents, newsletters, award submissions, resumes and everything in between. He has worked in busy newsrooms and large communication departments, and written winning tenders for some of the biggest infrastructure projects in Australia.

After years in the industry, Oliver realised many businesses didn’t have the time, resources or understanding of how to consistently deliver exceptional business communications. These experiences, coupled with Oliver's desire to help businesses succeed, inspired the vision for Bluegum Communication.
